Red Bull is known for going big. And, this New Year’s Eve promises to be nothing short of amazing. They’re bringing the action to San Diego. While practicing for this event last year, Levi LaVallee endoed his sled as he hit the landing ramp at over 100 mph. Needless to say last New Year festivities were canceled. The good news is that he’s back in the saddle and the fine folks at Red Bull have added a little something to this New Year ‘s Eve’s party.

Snowmobile ace Levi LaVallee returns to tackle Red Bull: New Year No Limits in 2011, but he's not alone. FMX star Robbie Maddison will join LaVallee as the pair attempt to set new distance records while sailing over San Diego Bay. LaVallee was originally slated to perform the jump in 2010, but a crash in practice leading up to the event sidelined him with serious injuries. Fully healed and more determined than ever, he's back to make his mark and best his record of 361 feet.
The event will air live from San Diego, Calif., on Saturday, December 31st on ESPN, ESPNHD and ESPN3.
